MVL-D Mercury Vapor Downlight

Overview

Price includes the fixture, 10” glare shield, tree mount, MV lamp and corresponding MH ballast in a box.

Lamp Types: Mercury Vapor- HR100R40 or HR175R40 (included). Select wattage from above.

Housing: 380 Aluminum alloy die cast.

Downshield: Required for use as downlight. Fabricated steel material. Angle-cut (DSA) 10” shield. Downlights do not require lenses.

Knuckle: Forward placement for better balance. Adjustable in 7.5° increments for precise aiming. ½”NPSM threaded arm. Knuckle may be threaded into Myers Hubs, Tree Mounts, Surface Mounts, Ground Stakes, or Junction Boxes. Tree Mount included with downlight.

Finish: Super polyester Duracoat powder coat with 5 year warranty. South Florida exposure rating for 5 years. Powder coated inside and outside with Extreme Coating application underneath. Standard finishes are Hartford Green (HGT) and Bronze (BZT).

Socket: Leviton 4KV Pulse rated 600V porcelain lamp holders with 25% more lamp contact area than Chinese sockets.

Ballast: Universal 100W or 175W Metal Halide ballast housed in a 6” x 7” x 4”  aluminum box. The ballast box is powder coated the same color as the fixture. Please note that the wattage of the ballast MUST match the wattage of the lamp used.
